I’ve been an entrepreneur for most of my life—curious about how things work, and even more curious about how to make them better. Through Lumexa, the digital agency I founded, I’ve helped brands grow with clarity and intention. I love business. But after years of building in fast-paced environments, I began craving something else: space. Simplicity. And time to reconnect.

While traveling the world, I found myself most alive in quiet moments—on the water, under open skies, away from screens and schedules. I didn’t want to stop creating. I just wanted to create from a different place. Something slower. Something more grounded.

That’s when Joost and I crossed paths. We quickly realized we shared the same passion for meaningful branding, the creative potential of AI, and the deep pull of nature. Our conversations flowed easily—from design systems to spiritual stillness—and from that energy, Maui was born.

Maui is our way of bringing people back to what matters. It’s a curated pause. A place to reconnect—with the ocean, with others, and with yourself.
